I am an infrastructure engineer. The market calls it DevOps, SRE, Platform Engineer or Cloud Architect depending on the year; the work is the same. Underneath it all I am a sysadmin who kept up with the market.

Seventeen years, starting in September 2008 as an IT intern at RNP. Six of those years running Kubernetes in production across EKS, AKS and GKE — from a 30-cluster global fleet to GitOps delivery with Argo CD, Flux and Helm charts written in-house. Most of what I am good at is turning an ambiguous production problem into something shipped and measurable, and building the tooling that keeps other teams' services reliable.

I have delivered as a DevOps Engineer, a Site Reliability Engineer, a Platform Engineer and a Cloud Architect. I work from Rio de Janeiro, in UTC-3 — full overlap with US East.
